| All
documents stored within DocWorks "The electronic
filing cabinet" are web browser accessible and can be
accessed globally.
Each client
has their own DocWorks application that is password
and user document-level secured. By activating the appropriate
document type, index field and indices (including 'wild card'
and Full Text searches), the document repository is accessed
and the list of documents are instantaneously available. Viewers
simply select the document(s) that they want to see and they
can perform the tasks that are required.
The retrieved
documents can be printed, faxed, emailed as an attachment,
used for collaboration purposes, downloaded, to CD, etc.
Once a
document is archived DocWorks can notify system users
that a document has reached a milestone where it may need
attention. This is useful for many applications from notification
of contract renewal dates, AR aging notification, or simply
notification that retention of a particular document or group
of documents is no longer necessary.
