DocWorks™ has the ability to read electronic files (not picture files like scanned documents) without OCR because of its internal capture engine. Once a document is placed in DocWorks™ the content extraction engine reads through the document cataloging the information so that you can do contextual searches for the document instantly and accurately. NSC can apply OCR technologies to imaged files (like scanned documents), to the document so that the information can be cataloged with the same science as electronic files.
